New Laboratories for Specialty Lab Medicine Now Open

The CUMC Laboratory Medicine Division of the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology, along with New York Presbyterian Hospital celebrated the opening of the new work space for Specialty Laboratories on March 20, 2017. This new space now houses the Special Chemistry, Special Hematology and Coagulation, Biochemical Genetics, and the Protein Electrophoresis Laboratories. Laboratory Directors Alex Rai, Richard Francis, Tiffany Thomas, and Tilla Worgall opened the new area along with Dr. Steve Spitalnik - Vice Chair of Laboratory Medicine, NYPH leadership, and the supervisors and technicians who occupy the space.
The Specialty Laboratories are now located in the Presbyterian Building, 3rd floor, room PH3-365.
