Join Velocity: Columbia’s Ride to End Cancer

Velocity Returns - October 2nd, 2022

On October 2nd, the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology will participate in Velocity: Columbia's Ride to End Cancer and we want you on our team! This annual event, now in its sixth year, brings together the Columbia University Medical Center community in support of patients, their families, and the cancer research on campus.

This year, we are excited to offer both live and remote options for Velocity!

You can join our team, Path to a Cure, in one of three ways:

One, in person on one of two fully supported cycling routes: 25 miles or 62.5 miles. Both routes will come together to cross the George Washington Bridge on their way to the finish line at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Two, you can join us remotely as a Your Way participant and complete any activity of your choice from anywhere, anytime, on or before Velocity Day on Saturday, October 2. You can ride, walk, run, swim, or be active however you choose to help solve cancer! Click here for more Your Way details.

Or three, you can be a part of our team by fundraising or making a donation.

No matter how you choose to join, you’ll be supporting Columbia’s Cancer Center and our mission to solve cancer once and for all. Visit the Velocity website to learn more about how you can be a part of it all!
