November 16, 2018

Pathology and Cell Biology faculty are indeed exceptional and this is evidenced in the many ways they are honored. On the evening of November 7, 2018 our very own Vivette D’Agati, MD, professor of pathology and cell biology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center was honored at the 2018 NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia Society of the Alumni Annual Dinner with the prestigious “Distinguished Alumni Award”. Dr. D’Agati shared this honor with her colleague and collaborator H. Thomas Lee, MD, PhD, professor of anesthesiology and vice chair of laboratory research at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and director of transplant anesthesiology at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Congratulations to Dr. D’Agati and Dr. Lee on this special distinction.
